What an amazing adventure this past year has been!
We are so proud of our achievements!
Thanks to you and your support, Team Sycamore was able to pull off what no one thought possible. We were able to take over 20% of the vote. 6,000 people demanded to see change and respect of their leadership. They knew that Ward 1 deserved better, and this is the message that was sent last Tuesday.
Over this past year, while going about Ward 1, I have learned so much about myself and my community. Seeing the strength and resilience in each person I met here in the Ward gave me hope and excitement for the future of our city. This is why I will continue to serve our community, and advocate for a more equitable and responsive government that serves the interest of its residents, not the special interests.
This most certainly is not the end; rather it is a new beginning!
Over these next 4 years, I hope you will join me in my advocacy and vision to make Ward 1, and the District a place where everyone is welcome and treated with respect.
We worked hard for you, and we took nothing for granted. I hope whatever the future brings us, that you will be there to support our cause.
